Kate Middleton took part in a Dad Walk in the local park during a visit to “Dadvengers,” a community for dads and their children in Arnos Grove in London on Wednesday. The event highlights the important role that dads play in their children’s earliest years, as part of her Shaping Us campaign on early childhood.
For her walk, Middleton stepped into a pair of ankle-length dark brown leather Thea Chelsea women’s boots from Reiss in “Chocolate Brown,” featuring rounded toes, short stacked block heels and slightly elevated platform soles.
The sleek pair streamlined Middleton’s silhouette while the thick non-slip soles they were equipped with offered the royal a conservative boost in height.
Chelsea boots are a popular choice for many, Middleton included. The style is rugged and sturdy, offering the wearer ease of movement in a fashionable non-slip style perfect for almost any occasion. In broader terms, ankle boots are extremely versatile shoes that can feature a variety of heel styles.
Keeping it casual, Middleton was outfitted in a black and white Lotus striped crew-neck sweater from Erdem accompanied by dark-wash mid-rise denim from Mother. Layered overtop her cashmere sweater, the Princess sported a Barbour and Alexa Chung Edith jacket in the color “Sand.”
The collaborative jacket featured striking black and white checkerboard-printed lining, ample pocket detailing and gold and silver hardware. Fastened to her lapel, Middleton wore a floral pin. Rounding out her look, the royal wore shiny small yellow gold hoop earrings from Daniella Draper.
Middleton can often be found wearing pointed-toe pumps from Emmy London, Jimmy Choo and Stuart Weitzman, among others. However, her go-to style is Gianvito Rossi’s 105 pumps. In addition to her royal rotation of heels, the duchess also wears affordable sneakers from New Balance, Adidas, Superga and Zara on and off duty.
