After revealing a kaleidoscopic Spring/Summer 2023 collection with Brick Owens and Dieter Grams’ label (B).STROY last month, Givenchy has quietly revived the ever-expanding partnership with a new footwear offering. Enter the duo’s Leather Ankle Boot, a sleek, all-black, lace-up silhouette reserved for the winter months.
Made in Italy, the boot is made with 100% calfskin leather and secondary stitched wool reversal, with a bulkier front component and a barely-there, covered wide heel. From tongue to toe, a central leather strip runs down the center of the design, supporting the boot’s thin, round lacing and slipping under the top wool opening. Though it’s not meant for trotting across all sorts of terrains, the silhouette does boast quality craftsmanship; and as a reminder, Givenchy plants its signature 4G emblem on the back loop.
Once the cold settles, Givenchy and (B).STROY will return with a hybrid streetwear range, filled with varsity jackets, crewneck sweaters, double-headed hoodies, polo shirts and distressed denim pieces. At large, the collaboration champions (B).STROY’s Atlanta roots, with sensory graphic designs riffing on the Georgia Pacific logo.
For now, Givenchy and (B).STROY’s Leather Ankle Boots are available to purchase on the brand’s webstore for $1195 USD, in sizes ranging from 39 to 46. Take a look at the brand’s latest footwear style in the gallery above.
