by Pharrell has swapped cowboy boots for Timberlands in a new capsule collection that sees Louis Vuitton team up with Timberland for an incredibly sturdy collaboration. It’s been a long time since a pair of Timberlands has been seen as simply just a work boot, so a high fashion collaboration makes total sense for the boot that celebrated its fiftieth birthday last year. Three new styles of boot will be introduced in the collection, the LV 6-INCH, the LV BOOT, and the LV 6-INCH EXCEPTIONAL EDITION. Each new boot is a play on the classic Timberland 6-inch nubuck leather boot but sees LV Monogram embossing throughout and a playful manipulation of the boots’ silhouettes.
The first release will be pre-launched on louisvuitton.com and the LV App on July 18th, followed by a wide release in selected stores worldwide on August 8th.
