Angelina Jolie‘s daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, took a casual approach to off-duty dressing for a mother-daughter date.
While visiting her mother’s Atelier Jolie store in New York City on Wednesday, Jolie-Pitt laced into a classic pair of Converse’s Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers. The 18-year-old’s $65 style featured the brand’s signature high-top canvas uppers, cast in a navy blue tone. The pair was finished with white laces, capped toes and flat rubber soles, as well as the label’s signature round Chuck Taylor All-Star logo.
Jolie-Pitt’s footwear brought a higher-coverage take to the standard canvas sneaker, thanks to its additional material. Pairs in tonal hues are favored for their ability to easily bring any outfit a pop of color, with darker hues like blue, purple and red favored in colder months. Styles like Jolie-Pitt’s have been released from an array of brands, including Cariuma, Allbirds and Golden Goose.
Jolie-Pitt opted to pair her blue Converse with an all-black outfit, featuring straight-leg pants and a quilted $280 Thermoball Eco Parka from The North Face. The young star’s attire was complete with a white T-shirt and a gold nameplate necklace, as well as a monogrammed brown $590 canvas pouch by Celine.
Jolie, meanwhile, was sleekly outfitted in an all-black winter ensemble: a long black coat and pants, paired with smooth leather boots. The “Salt” actress‘ look was finished with round sunglasses, numerous diamond stud earrings and a gold Cartier bracelet, as well as Saint Laurent’s $4,900 ICare tote bag — a slouchy, fully quilted black leather style with a large gold metal “YSL” logo accent at its center.
Jolie originally opened Atelier Jolie with sustainability in mind. The actress’ latest project, which debuted in Nov. 2023 at 57 Great Jones Street in New York City’s Soho neighborhood, features a space dedicated to eco-friendly clothing and projects — including alteration and clothing recycling services, as well as a café and a gallery featuring goods from local artisans. Her label’s first clothing collection, a collaboration designed with Chloé under Gabriela Hearst, will be released in 2024.
