Emma Stone beckoned an early spring in a soft powder blue ensemble from Louis Vuitton at the “Poor Things” UK Gala Screening at the Barbican Centre in London on Dec. 14.
The film’s star walked the red carpet in elegant light silver heeled sandals with a slim strap across the toes and the ankle and approximately 4-inch heels.
Stone wore them with a coordinating-color long silk Louis Vuitton dress with spaghetti straps, a deep-V-neck with mesh paneling and delicate button detailed along the sides. She topped it with a slouchy periwinkle crepe coat that she wore fully off her shoulders.
At the “Poor Things” premiere in New York City on Dec. 6, she also wore metallic strappy heeled sandals, which peeked out from a long yellow avant-garde custom Louis Vuitton spaghetti strap gown with peekaboo cutouts.
Emma often wears pointed-toe pumps, strappy heels and statement boots from Louis Vuitton, Celine and Nicholas Kirkwood. Off the red carpet, she can be seen in APL sneakers, Aeyda and Birkenstock sandals and Jenni Kayne mules.
Strappy high heels remain a red carpet classic, with their recent iterations including simple, slim straps in single colors, including metallic ones. Sabato De Sarno‘s debut Gucci eveningwear collection, Ancora Notte, showcases these minimalist elegant shoes, as worn by models and celebs including Kirsten Dunst and Jodie Turner-Smith at the 2023 LACMA Art + Film Gala red carpet.
The critically acclaimed “Poor Things” recently landed in theaters on Dec. 8, starring Stone as Bella, who embarks on personal journey after being brought back to life by a mad scientist played by William Dafoe. It was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who also worked with Stone on 2018’s “The Favourite.” Costumes from “Poor Things” are currently on display at the Barbican Center, including a collection of puff-sleeve dresses worn by Stone in the film.
