K-Swiss will be at The Running Event in Austin from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.
In conjunction with sponsoring the trade show, the American tennis footwear brand also curated a Museum of Pickleball that will be displayed during the event.
K-Swiss’ once-in-a-lifetime Museum of Pickleball will feature a playful take on one of the most historical statues in the world, “The Dinker,” as well as fan-favorite “Pickle The Dog.”
At The Running Event, pickleball coach to the stars, Matt Manasse, will teach the basics of pickleball to all who want to learn and improve their game. Manasse has trained top stars like Emma Watson, Matthew McConaughey and Kelly Rowland.
Formerly a D1 collegiate tennis player at USC and Purdue, Manasse quickly found success in the coaching ranks, where he was a collegiate tennis coach for six years with stints at Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, and Duke. In August, K-Swiss announced its exclusive partnership with Manasse for a multi-year apparel and footwear deal.
K-Swiss has a variety of pickleball-oriented sneaker silhouettes, equipping players with sleek and playful options for the fastest-growing sport.
From the beginning, K-Swiss was driven by an entrepreneurial spirit when two Swiss brothers moved to California to create a footwear brand focused on tennis. As avid skiers, the brothers took inspiration from leather ski boots to create a supportive leather tennis shoe.
Introduced in 1966, the K-Swiss Classic was the world’s first all-leather tennis shoe. Dedicated to outfitting and inspiring the next generation on and off the court, K-Swiss is building off its rich tennis heritage and writing new chapters in its storied history.
