Kate Middleton attended The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at Lon don’s Royal Albert Hall on Saturday alongside Prince William.
King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and other members of the royal family were also in attendance. This year’s event marked 80 years since The Battle of the Atlantic and the 70th anniversary of the Korean War.
For the somber occasion, the Princess of Wales stepped into a classic pair of suede pumps. The royal’s shoes featured black suede uppers that transitioned into triangular knife-like pointed toes all sat atop thin 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels that gave Middleton a subtle and sophisticated boost.
Suede pumps are a go-to style for Middleton all year round, specifically from brands like Gianvito Rossi, Emmy London, Prada, Aquazzura and Jimmy Choo among others. Beyond their suede nature this time around, pointed-toe pumps are a staple in many celebrities’ wardrobes, Middleton included. The brand features both male and female styles including a range of mules, flats, booties and even sneakers. The Italian footwear retailer also stocks accessories including belts and clutches.
Keeping things simple, Middleton sported a black long-sleeve dress featuring breezy gathered detailing and an A-line skirt. Rounding out her ensemble, the Princess sported a layered pearl necklace along with pearl and diamond-encrusted earrings and a red poppy pin, a symbol the royal family wears throughout November to commemorate fallen troops. Middleton also carried a rectangular suede clutch and parted her dark brown hair down the middle and styled her tresses in face-framing waves.
Middleton can often be found wearing pointed-toe pumps from Emmy London, Jimmy Choo and Stuart Weitzman, among others. However, her go-to style is Gianvito Rossi’s 105 pumps. In addition to her royal rotation of heels, the duchess also wears affordable sneakers from New Balance, Adidas, Superga and Zara on and off duty.
