MSCHF x Crocs Big Yellow Boots sparking confusion: ‘So dumb’

Is that hot … or not?

Fashionistas are divided over the latest fashion find modeled by Paris Hilton, with some critics calling it a crock.

MSCHF, a Brooklyn-based art collective known for viral artworks and products, and Crocs have collaborated on their newest product: Big Red Boots (in yellow).

“We’re mixing two samples to create something totally transformed and instantly recognizable,” the official MSCHF website brags.

The shoe combines MSCHF’s popular big red boot design and Crocs’ distinctive hole pattern and strap for a unique accessory that appears to hit mid-calf.

While some might question the cartoonish-looking footwear, the boot is being proudly promoted by the princess of all “that’s hot.”

“We were so excited to work with Paris. She’s such an icon, and taking our iconic shoe and pairing it with Crocs and Paris was so amazing,” MSCHF co-founder Daniel Greenberg told The Post.

Hilton, 42, is the face of the collab, wearing the boot on the official website and her own Instagram and TikTok pages in two sporty outfits reminiscent of Uma Thurman in “Kill Bill.”

The iconic trendsetter modeled the shoes in two looks: A yellow skintight jumpsuit splattered with the word “sliving” (her catchphrase, a portmanteau of “slaying” and “living”) in silver rhinestones, and a yellow two-piece high-waisted legging with a black racing stripe and matching cropped long-sleeved moto jacket.

The shoes will be available for $450 starting Aug. 9.

Eager wannabe trendsetters can register online to be alerted when the product drops, but some celebs have already sported the daring look that is being compared to a SpongeBob SquarePants or Big Bird costume.

Victoria Beckham, Maluma, Lil Durk and Tommy Cash have already been spotted trying to pull off the attention-grabbing footwear.

But the public isn’t so sure they’re ready to shell out hundreds and make room for the MSCHF X Crocs Big Red Boots (Yellow) in their closet just yet.

“Spongebob got competition fr [for real],” one social media user commented on a TikTok of the shoes.

Some fans of the MSCHF big red boot and Crocs were not impressed by the joint effort.

“I got excited for this collab just for it be just a big red boot dupe but somehow more stupid,” one lamented.

“Crocs as much as I love you no,” another stated.

And yet some people are still queuing up to buy the bit.

“This is so dumb and I hate it … How do I buy it?” one TikToker asked.

This isn’t the first time MSCHF has raised eyebrows with its products.

The brand was also behind the $63,000 Louis Vuitton handbag “smaller than a grain of sea salt,” the AI attractiveness rating bot HotChat 3000 and a 500-piece puzzle with the chance to win $2 million.
