Queen Camilla donned a pair of her favorite fall-to-winter boots at a royal engagement in Bristol, Eng., on Thursday.
Attending a celebration for the 25th anniversary of Emmaus Bristol charity, she stepped out in an elegant belted coat in a deep shade of purple teamed with black knee-high boots. A go-to style for the queen during the chillier months, she’s worn the same calf-hugging boots boasting smooth suede uppers practically all season.
The classic boots, which feature a slightly slouchy appearance around the ankle, are complete with an almond toe, medial side zippers and a short block heel measuring around 1 to 2 inches in height.
While Camilla kept her coat on for the event, she appeared to be wearing a navy printed dress with a high collar underneath. She finished off her look with a pin on her coat’s collar, pearl drop earrings and timeless black leather gloves.
The British royal, who was officially crowned the Queen of England last spring, often wears chic coats and coordinating sets in rich jewel tones and versatile shoes in neutral hues such as brown pumps. Much like her predecessor, Queen Elizabeth II, her outfits are typically all one tone. And similar to Kate Middleton, she’s become known for repeating the same shoe styles over and over.
Some of her most-worn shoe brands for formal occasions include Chanel and the U.K.’s Sole Bliss. As the name suggests, the latter specializes in stylish footwear with a focus on comfort. The brand’s shoes feature wider toe boxes, stretchy hidden panels and extra layers of cushioning.
