Timberland is stepping into fall with a brand-new collaboration with A-Cold-Wall*.
The duo — that first collaborated on a co-branded shoe in May — have reunited for a new all-black capsule line, which focuses on two of Timberland’s signature staple shoes in celebration of its landmark 50th anniversary. The first is the $295 version of its hit 6-inch boot, whose round-toed uppers are cast in smooth regenerative leather, features a laceless front with matching tongues.
The minimalist pair is complete with stacked black rubber lug soles, as well as gray “ACW”-stamped outsoles and zipped side shafts for a grungy take on Timberland’s renowned boot style. Two small, stark white logos — Timberland’s on the shaft, A-Cold-Wall*’s on the toe — and a co-branded white hangtag complete the style with a stark, faintly utilitarian edge.
The second shoe to round out the collection is Timberland’s Future73 boat shoe. Compared to its predecessor, this new $220 iteration features ballistic nylon uppers woven with its signature ankle cords through small silver eyelets — and featuring a jet-black hangtag accent for added flair. The punky lace-up style is complete with black stacked rubber lug soles, as well as ridged gray outsoles with stamped “ACW” and numerical lettering — similarly to the complementary aforementioned boots.
Currently, the boots and boat shoes from Timberland and A-Cold-Wall*l’s second collaboration are available on Timberland’s website. Both styles can also be found on A-Cold-Wall*’s website, as well.
Timberland’s capsule drop with A-Cold-Wall* marks its latest brand collaboration of 2023. This year, the workwear shoe brand has expanded its presence with a range of co-branded shoe releases and launches, made with labels including Edison Chen, Icebreaker, Clot and Supreme.
