Madonna attended the New York premiere of “Deadpool & Wolverine” held yesterday at the David H. Koch Theater. Joined by her twin daughters Stella and Estere, the singer was clad in a Saint Laurent look from head to toe.
The “Hung Up” singer donned a pair of jet-black ankle-length booties. The striking silhouette was comprised of glossy rich black leather uppers that transitioned into sharp pointed toes and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels.
The sleek style was paired with grungy black fishnet tights, a go-to for the performer. No matter the colorway, ankle-length booties are a classic for many stars, Madonna included. Similar styles to Madonna’s own can be purchased from brands like Coach, Prada, Dolce Vita and Sergio Rossi, among others.
In true Madonna fashion, the “Like a Prayer” singer was styled in a corsetted BDSM-inspired bodysuit that harkened back to her cone bra days. The bodysuit featured a sculpted lace bustier and buckle detailing. Overtop, the musician wore an oversized black blazer featuring matching black buttons and a plunging neckline. On the accessories front, Madonna wore a plethora of high-shine silver chains layered atop each other along with edgy black sunglasses.
Madonna is renowned for her edgy and groundbreaking personal style, both in her own right and as a muse for designers including Ford, Jean Paul Gaultier and Jeremy Scott. Her footwear follows an equally sleek and edgy route, often consisting of pointed-toe and platform pumps and boots on the red carpet from brands including Christian Louboutin, Stella McCartney and Chanel. Off-duty, Madonna can be seen in a range of sneakers and boots from brands including Nike and Puma.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” is an upcoming action-adventure film directed by Shawn Levy starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The highly-anticipated crossover superhero film is set to release in theaters on July 26.
