Merrell believes true self care starts with getting outdoors and being active and the brand has teamed with its sister company, Sweaty Betty, on a new collection of women’s activewear to help further that mission.
Although the two brands, both owned by Wolverine Worldwide, have worked together in the past, this collaboration marks the first full collection of apparel, accessories and footwear they have created together.
“We know women are willing to try all sorts of methods when it comes to self care and, together, our brands are championing the solution that the most available, long-term form of self care is getting outside and moving your body,” said Lindsey Lindemulder, vice president of marketing for Merrell.
The collection, which will be available beginning March 26 on the Merrell site and will launch on Sweaty Betty on April 2, is intended to sit at the intersection of fashion and function. It includes a Moab Speed 2 hiking shoe, a Speed Fusion Web sandal and a reimagined selection of Sweaty Betty’s bestselling apparel items including the Swifty Workout Tank, Power Bra, Power Cargo Short, Power Cargo Workout Legging, Athlete Seamless Workout Tee, 2-in-1 Hiking Jacket, Convertible Hiking Pant and Whisper Anorak.
Accessories include the Crest 8L Sling and Crest 1.5L Lumbar Pack.
The capsule collection will also be available at select retailers including Nordstrom, REI, Public Lands and Mountain Equipment Company in Canada.
